Habib Bank Plaza

Habib Bank Plaza, located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, is the head office of Habib Bank. It was Pakistan’s tallest building upon completion in 1963. It remained the tallest building for 4 decades until the 116m tall MCB Tower was completed in 2005. However, even after the MCB Tower, the Habib Bank Plaza is still the second highest building in Karachi today.

Pakistan’s tallest building from 1963 until 2005. After 2005, MCB Landmark plaza became the tallest building of Pakistan with 29 floors and a helipad on top. Habib bank plaza has 22 floors.

The Centaurus

The Centaurus is a mixed-use development project currently under construction in Islamabad, Pakistan. The project involves over 6.59 acres of land in Islamabad’s arterial corridor, called Blue Area.

The complex is designed by Atkins, whose portfolio includes the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai, and the Bahrain World Trade Center in Bahrain. It is a project of the Pak Gulf Construction (Pvt) Ltd (PGCL) in Islamabad. Pak Gulf construction company is a joint venture between Al Tamimi (Saudi Arabia) and Sardar Builders (Pakistan).

World Trade Center Islamabad

Commercial chattels in Pakistan is being endorsed by more international real estate developers then ever recorded in previous real estate history. One such extravaganza is the World Trade Center Islamabad. It is one of its kind and is being developed by the renowned Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited. The concept of a World Trade Center in Pakistan was promoted by the Vice Chairman of the Group Haji Rafiq Giga, who exhibits great patriotism and wanted Pakistan to be in the list of economically developed countries.

Al Ghurair Giga is the official licensee of World Trade Centers Association New York, for Islamabad and by the grace of Almighty Allah the World Trade Center Islamabad is under construction. The World Trade Center Islamabad will be amongst 326 WTC’s operating in about 100 countries, with 750,000 affiliations.

World Trade Center Colombo

The World Trade Center (also known as WTC Colombo or WTCC) is the tallest completed building in Sri Lanka. Standing over 152 m (499 ft) from the ground, it ranks as the second tallest twin tower in South Asia. WTCC runs under the management of the Overseas Reality Ceylon (PLC) (better known as ORCPLC). ORCPLC is a part of Mireka Capital Land (pvt) Ltd which owns the Havelock City Project, one of the largest residential projects in Asia.

The WTCC was opened on 12 October, 1997 by the former Sri Lankan President Chandrika Kumaratunga. The tower consists of two identical 40-storey towers, the east and the west towers.

Havelock City

The Havelock City Project, well known locally for its Asia Pacific Property Awards, is one of the largest and most expensive multi-purpose real-estate development projects in the world, being constructed in the Havelock Town region of Sri Lanka. The project will consist of nine individual towers:

  • Tower 1 – 22 floors (also called Park Tower, part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 2 – 22 floors (also called Elibank Tower, part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 3 – 22 floors (part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 4 – 22 floors (part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 5 – 27 floors (part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 6 – 27 floors (part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 7 – 29 floors (part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 8 – 29 floors (part of the “Residential Component”)
  • Tower 9 – ?? floors (also called as the “Commercial Component”)
